Honda launched the 2017 City facelift in
February 2017. It now gets five variants, namely, S, SV, V, VX and ZX
(the diesel powertrain is not available in the base S trim). According
to Honda, 40 per cent of bookings for the City facelift initially were
for the top-end ZX variant. The updated City gets LED head and tail
lamps, daytime running LEDs, 16-inch alloy wheels, an updated
infotainment system with MirrorLink connectivity, and a total of six
airbags.
If you are looking to get the Honda City
with an automatic gearbox, it is only available with the 1.5-litre
petrol i-VTEC engine and in the V, VX and ZX variants. Interestingly,
fuel economy figures of the City have dropped marginallly from 17.8kmpl
to 17.4kmpl for the petrol manual and from 26kmpl to 25.6kmpl in the
diesel manual. The Honda City 2017 rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki
Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and Hyundai Verna. Have a look at
