Ingredients:
- Water - 3 cups (ପାଣି)
- Ginger - 1 inch (ଅଦା)
- Green Cardamom - 4 (ଗୁଜୁରାତୀ)
- Tea Leaves - 4 - 6 tsp (ଚା ପତି)
- Milk - 1 cup (ଖିର)
- Sugar - 4 tsp (as needed) (ଚିନି)
- Boil 3 cups of water in a pan.
- Crush ginger using a mortar with pestle. Add it to the water.
- Crush Green cardamom coarsely and add to the water & bring it to a boil.
- Add tea leaves and allow to brew on medium heat till the water turns a golden brown color.
- Then add 1 cup of milk & brings it to boil.
- Add the sugar & let it boil till sugar dissolves.
- Then strain & serve hot.
