“Pranic Healing” Intensive Yoga Course with Sharat Arora
“The Art of Healing Oneself with the Breath”
19 March - 7 April 2018 at the Himalaya Shanti Ashram – our Eco Retreat for Yoga, Meditation and Healing
In this Intensive Course we come
upon the art of using the Asanas at their subtlest level. On the first 2
weeks we focus on understanding the body alignment and actually feel it
– both – in practicing Asanas as well as in Pranayama. Once the
fundamental understanding of right movements and adjustments in all the
basic postures have been explored in the personal practice in great
detail, we start learning how to reach all the areas of the body with
specific groups of Yoga Asanas and benefit them with Pranayama
technique. This usually begins in the 3rd week of the course. We learn
how to remove any blockages by directing the breath to those areas and
thus gaining a sense of well being and freedom. By aware breathing in
our Pranayama practice we experience energetic empowerment and altered
state of mind. Pranic Healing is an Intensive Yoga Course that requires a
great subtlety of consciousness and is recommended for those who are
ready to dive inwards.
Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre Intensive Yoga Courses with Master Teacher Sharat Arora
– three weeks long, six days a week – are designed for those students
who have taken a strong interest in furthering their Yoga practice and
who wish to undertake an extensive exploration of this science. The
daily program includes four hours of Asanas, two hours of Meditation and
Relaxation, one hour of Pranayama, two hours of early morning
Self-Practice as well as one hour of Karma Yoga. In addition to these
Yoga practices, the Course also features 2 lectures or question &
answer sessions per week.
Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre Intensive Yoga Courses with Master Teacher Sharat Arora - taking place at the Himalaya Shanti Ashram,
our special place for Yoga, Meditation and Healing to enhance a deeper
and more focused practice - should be considered a retreat, where a
student can devote oneself entirely to self-exploration, change and
transformation. The Intensive Courses are rigorous and the daily program
very thorough - beginning in the early morning and continuing until
sunset - leaving very little or no time for other activities. We,
therefore, advise participants to come prepared with all their personal
needs prior to the commencement of the Intensive Course. Two healthy
vegetarian meals without fruit, along with afternoon tea, are provided
daily to all the participants. Students can buy the fruit in the Ashram
shop. All aspects of Yoga are learned on an experiential level, and
dramatic changes are often felt by the students.
A meeting takes place during the evening
before the Course starts and is compulsory for all participants. The
program and exact schedule will be introduced, karma yoga will be
distributed and all questions will be clarified.
